Kenwood TS-940SAT My first rig, acquired back in December, 2010 from a nice elderly ham. Truly a man of his word! We spoke several times over the course of a few days prior to shipping the radio. I really have no other HF radio to compare to, but others swear by it.

Shure 526T desk mic, it came with the TS-940, and works fairly well for 'communications quality' audio, but eventually be replaced with something a little better.

A Heil Proset with the HC-4 element. The earmuffs are great, comfortable, and block out a lot of background noise. Combined with a foot pedal for the PTT, I think it is great for contesting and DX, maybe a little cumbersome for "arm chair" rag-chewing.

Signalink USB A small interface box that connects to the back of ther TS-940 and breaks out several functions such as PTT, audio in, audio out. It allows the radio to connect to your PC and use digital modes such as PSK31, RTTY, and many others! I got this before the radio actually, but only by a day or two.

Heathkit SB-200 linear amplifier. Bought in the fall of 2011. It arrived in decent condition for its age, but smelled of cigarette smoke. The plan is to use it a little to find any bugs, then teardown and reubild.

MFJ-962D Antenna tuner. I needed something to match the antennas to the SB-200. This should do it. Oh and a Dummy Load to keep the airwaves clean.
